Grand Inauguration of Public Library Building at Edapalayam Village, Ranipet District

The Public Library Building at Edapalayam Village, Ranipet District, was grandly inaugurated on 30 July 2026. The ceremony was presided over by the Senior Officials of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR INDIA Pvt. Ltd. (SDF), Ranipet, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guests and formally inaugurated the library by unveiling the commemorative plaque. The library was established under the CSR initiative of SDF and implemented by Iniyaudaiyam Charitable Trust. During the programme, Dr. Komala Sivakumar, Managing Trustee of IniyaUdaiyam Charitable Trust, explained the journey of the project, including the planning, construction process, and the collaboration with SDF that made the library a reality. She expressed her gratitude to SDF for their generous support in promoting education in rural communities. The event was attended by the District Library Officer, library staff, village leaders, teachers, students, and community members. The Chief Guests emphasized the importance of reading habits and lifelong learning, stating that the library would serve as a valuable knowledge centre for children, youth, and competitive examination aspirants. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Village Librarian, followed by the National Anthem.
