Health is a cornerstone of dignity and growth. IUCT’s health initiatives focus on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and mental well-being, particularly for women and children in vulnerable communities. We organize medical and health check-up camps, provide nutritional supplements, and conduct awareness sessions on personal hygiene and sanitation to build a culture of health-conscious living.
A key component of our health program is menstrual health and hygiene education for adolescent girls and women. In many communities, menstruation is surrounded by stigma and misinformation, leading to poor hygiene and school absenteeism. To address this, IUCT conducts Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) workshops in schools, community centers, and factories, where girls and women learn about their bodies, safe menstrual practices, and the importance of dignity during periods.
We distribute reusable sanitary pads and demonstrate eco-friendly menstrual products, ensuring that women and girls have access to affordable and sustainable options. Our outreach also includes sessions for mothers and men, encouraging open dialogue and reducing taboos around menstruation. Through this initiative, IUCT helps create healthier, more confident, and informed young women who can manage their health with pride and self-respect.
Health is at the heart of dignity and development. IUCT ensures that underprivileged communities have access to information, care, and awareness for better living.
